Then Aer Lingus moved up a departing flight by 4 hours.(Later flight cancelled) I called back hoping to move the flight in and out of Boston. We were told the flight need to move more than 120 and only move 115 minutes. I then asked if we could move our return flight through Boston since a jet blue flight was available that would work with our itinerary. I called and asked if we could get our connecting flights through jet blue attached since they are an affiliate to prevent the conflict. Aer Lingus then started moving flight times around where our connecting flights would not work. We booked flights out of JFK to Dublin since Aer Lingus would only let us use the voucher for a direct flight (no connecting flights) We initially booked the "voucher" flights in June 2021 when we got the first scent that travel restrictions would be lifted. ![]() ![]() My wife and I used our voucher from last March 2020 (literally when everything shutdown) for a trip in September 2021.
